Natasha Hannoun

Natasha is the Head of Debt at SHUAA Capital. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Pure Harvest Smart Farms.

Natasha has broad experience in advisory, origination, structuring and execution across multiple asset classes including Private Equity and Debt Investments, Real Estate and Fixed Income.

Over the last five years, in her previous role as a Director with the Private Debt platform of the Group, she has structured over USD 7 bn in financing including last mile and mezzanine financing.

Prior to joining the Group in 2014, Natasha was part of the Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory team at Deloitte Corporate Finance Advisory in Dubai.

Natasha holds a MSc in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Bristol in the UK.

Riccardo Zanella 

Prior to joining SHUAA Capital, Riccardo worked in the Credit team of AnaCap Financial Partners in London focusing on debt financing, distressed debt, real estate and structured finance transactions in the UK and EMEA.

Prior to that, Riccardo worked at Deutsche Bank and Canaccord within their Investment Banking teams working on a wide array of transactions across debt and equity for financial institutions across EMEA.

Riccardo holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and an Executive Education degree from Columbia Business School in New York.

Director

Tarek Baadarani

Tarek Baadarani joined SHUAA Capital in 2018. Prior to joining, he spent 9 years collectively between three of the Big-4 financial advisory firms and a multi-family office where he advised and/or structured an aggregate of USD 10.1 billion in cross-border capital-market transactions encompassing 62 deals/funds across 12 industry sectors primarily within the MENA region.

Tarek is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) licensed with the United States CAIA Association, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed with the United States NASBA, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level Ill candidate.

He holds an MSc in Global Finance with Distinction, from CASS Business School in London, United Kingdom, and a BA in Accounting & Finance from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

Associate

Joseph Barron

Joseph has over five years of investment analysis experience across both public and private markets.

Joseph started his career at Berenberg Bank, joining the graduate programme before becoming an Equity Research Analyst, with coverage focusing on UK Mid Cap companies. Following this, Mr. Barron moved to British International Investment (formerly CDC Group), the UK’s development finance institute. As part of the Infrastructure & Climate Funds team, he was responsible for assessing investment opportunities into impact-focused funds operating across Africa and South Asia, as well as selective co-investment opportunities.

During his tenure, Joseph successfully completed c. USD 200 million worth of deals, targeting a dual mandate of both financial returns and development impact.

Joseph holds a First-Class degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder, having passed all three levels on his first attempt.

Analyst

Hrag Bedoyan

Prior to joining SHUAA Capital, Hrag worked in the strategy practice of Accenture in the UAE focusing on renewable energy, oil & gas, and public sector industries in the GCC.

Prior to that, he worked at several venture capital start-ups in MENA, focusing on researching and identifying early-stage investments in the technology industry across USA and Europe.

Hrag holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon and holds Micro Masters degrees in Economics and Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Massachusetts.
